Fifth Third Bank has partnered with Community Reinvestment Fund, USA and their Connect2Capital platform to support the growth and development of small businesses.

This new initiative brings small business owners, banks and CDFIs together to expand business support services, access to capital, and can meet the needs of small businesses in our communities. Connect2Capital is a matching platform of small business lenders called Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). These non-profit lenders are dedicated to helping small businesses make an impact in their communities, by providing sound business consultation as well as business loans with flexible terms.

Connect2Capital is an online, small-business lending platform, powered by Community Reinvestment Fund, USA. Think of it as a one-stop-shop, designed to help you find the right CDFI lender for your needs.

Community Development Financial Institutions, or CDFIs, are financial institutions that have a primary mission of community development and provides credit and financial services to underserved markets and populations. CDFIs are certified by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s CDFI Fund. CDFIs include banks, credit unions, non-profit organizations, and loan and venture capital funds. Depending on its institution type, CDFIs can provide financial services, financial education, and affordable lending opportunities within their communities.

Connect2Capital’s lending partners are often able to say “yes” to a loan application, even when a bank or other traditional lending source said “no.”1

When you apply for a loan, the amount you will be able to borrow will depend on the Connect2Capital platform partner and amounts may vary.

Connect2Capital is made up of non-profit lenders. They feel it’s their responsibility to connect you to a loan that is a right fit for your business, with reasonable terms.
