We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy. If we make material changes, we will provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to the Services or sending you an email notification). COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

We collect information you provide directly to us. Information We Collect Automatically

We automatically collect certain information about your interactions with us or our Services, including:

  • Activity Information: We collect information about your activity on our Services, including, depending on how you interact with our Services, which lenders or borrowers you interact with.
  • Device and Usage Information: We collect information about how you use or access our Services, including data about the device and network you use, the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, the page you visited before navigating to our Services, and search terms used on our Services’ internal search engines.

For example, we may collect information about you from identity verification services, advertising networks, data analytics providers, mailing list providers, financial data providers, community development partners, referral partners, lenders, and other entities who work with us to fund loans. This information may include your name, company name, email address, postal address, phone number, financial information, banking information (including cash flow, transaction information, and account number), loan history, loan repayment activity, Social Security number, Employer Identification Number, Taxpayer Identification Number, and demographic information (including information revealing sexual orientation and ethnic origin). Additionally, if you use our Services to make a donation, we will receive limited information about you from the third party that processes your payment, including but not limited to your name, address, email address, and donation amount.

Information We Derive

Depending on how you interact with us or our Services, we may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address or postal address, or derive metrics about your business performance or health based on your banking information.

CRF is based in the United States, and we have vendors based in the United States and other countries. Therefore, we and those that perform work for us may transfer your personal information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide levels of data protection that are equivalent to those of your home jurisdiction.

We may disclose (or permit others to directly collect) information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

  • With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, financing, fraud prevention, customer service, data enrichment, analytics, and marketing and advertising;

  • With other users when you engage with or participate in the interactive areas of our Services, including matching between borrowers and lenders;

  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our agreements or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property and safety of CRF or others;

Social Sharing Features

The Services may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which may let you share actions you take on our Services with other media, and vice versa. Account Information
You may request that we update, correct or delete information about you at any time emailing us at crfusa@crfusa.com, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
